Yuko was born and raised on the Miyako Island (one of Okinawa's many beautiful islands).  She traveled and lived in America for 8 years to learn the English language and experience different cultures.  She returned back to her home land with a strong passion to help others.  During her time in America she witnessed and participated in volunteer activities to help those less fortunate.  After returning to Okinawa, she wanted to continue to help those less fortunate here on Okinawa.

Chris was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Okinawa 6 years ago. Before retiring from the United States Marine Corps he was able to travel and volunteer around the world assisting those in need.  Some of the volunteer organizations he has volunteered for include: American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, SPCA, Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity, Hawaii Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, Special Olympics, USO, and numerous nursing homes, soup kitchens, and orphanages.  When Chris arrived in Okinawa, he wanted to make a difference and to help those in need.  He has dedicated his life to helping those less fortunate here in Okinawa and hopes that his passion for volunteering will be shared by others.
